Here I will tell you how to make a Website left navigation button using  photoshop.

[1] Take a new file of 400 pixels,400 pixels, of resolution 72 dpi in the RGB mode.

[2] Take the Rectangular Marquee Tool.

[3] Create a shape and fill with white color.

[4] Now go to Blending Option use the following settings.

[5] Your image should be look like this.

[6] Now take the Rectangle Tool.

[7] Then create a shape as shown image below.

[8] Now take the Pen Tool.

[9] Create a Anchor Point as shown image below.

[10] Then click the Anchor Point with the help of Pen Tool your image should be look like this.

[11] Create a new layer and make the selection fill the selection with Black color.

[12] Now go to Blending Option use the following settings.

[13] Your image should be look like this.

[14] Now make the more copy of this shape layer.

[15] And now create your text your final image is ready.
