Here I will tell you how to make a State-trooper-police-badge in photoshop.

[1] Take a new file of 500 pixels,500 pixels, of resolution 72 dpi in the RGB mode.

[2] Fill the Background with any color I have used the Gradient Tool, take the Shape Tool and select this one.

[3] Create a shape and make the selection.

[4] Now take the Elliptical Marquee Tool use these settings.

[5] Create a shape over the previous shape see in the next image.

[6] Fill the selection with Black color.

[7] Go to Blending Option use the following settings.

[23] Create a new shape with the help of Elliptical Marquee Tool, and fill the Black color.
